Did you know you don't actually need to wash wool? Wool naturally contains lanolin which is a self cleaning property. Additionally, each piece by Beatrice Rose Design receives an additional lanolin treatment as part of its finishing process.

Often your wool item(s) simply needs to be placed on the bathroom windowsill during a shower or bath to benefit from the steam and humidity.

However, sometimes we have little accidents with our precious woolen knitwear. If this is you then read below for handwashing instructions.

4. On the final lift, squeeze out as much water as possible before placing your item flat on a clean towel. Gently stretch into shape.

5. Roll up the towel with your item inside. Press as hard as you can to squeeze out any excess water.Remove from the towel.
